How to print a PDF, photo or file from iPhone to a Phomemo printer

From Tomorrowish, the makers of Paperpaw, an independent app for these printers. Every fix on this page works without it. Checked November 2, 2026.

If you tap Share › Print in Photos or Files, your Phomemo printer won't be in the list. That isn't a fault. The iPhone's built-in printing is AirPrint, which works with AirPrint printers on your Wi-Fi network. Phomemo's pocket printers connect over Bluetooth through an app instead; Phomemo's own instructions are to download the app, turn on Bluetooth and connect the printer in the app. So printing always goes through a printer app.

Printing a photo

  1. Open the printer app (Phomemo for the M02 family, Print Master for the M110 family).
  2. Choose the photo or image option and pick the picture from your library.
  3. Crop it to the part you want. The paper is narrow (53 mm on the M02, about 2 inches), so a full photo prints small.

Printing a PDF or document

A full page is about 21 cm wide; the printer's paper is about 5 cm. Shrunk to fit, normal text ends up tiny. Two ways to get a readable result:

Printing text, lists or a web page

For a note or a to-do list, type or paste it into the app's text option rather than printing a screenshot: real text prints sharper than a picture of text. For a link, make a QR code instead of printing the whole page.

Questions

Can I AirPrint to a Phomemo printer?

No. AirPrint works with AirPrint printers on Wi-Fi. Phomemo's pocket printers connect over Bluetooth through an app, so they don't appear in the iPhone's Print menu.

How do I print a PDF on a Phomemo M02 from my iPhone?

Use the app's document option if it has one, or zoom in on the part you need, take a screenshot, crop it and print it as a photo.

Why does my document print so small?

The paper is about 5 cm wide, so a full page has to shrink about four times. Print only the part you need, zoomed in.

If you'd rather skip the app trouble: Paperpaw

Paperpaw is on the iPhone Share Sheet, so you can send a photo or text from another app straight to the printer. Photos and text are free. Paperpaw Pro adds a PDF mode that prints a chosen page range, trims white margins and can turn pages sideways.

Paperpaw needs no account and shows no ads. It works with the Phomemo M02, M02S, M02 Pro and T02, and the M110, M120 and M220 label printers. Printing photos, labels, notes and lists is free; Paperpaw Pro is a one-time $4.99, no subscription.
