Tomorrowish · Bibliography Verifier
Terms of use
Last updated 24 October 2026. These terms are between you and Tomorrowish LLC, the publisher of Bibliography Verifier ("the add-on").
What the add-on does
It looks up the entries of a reference list in public indexes and reports, for each one, whether a matching record was found and whether its details agree. It can change a reference's year, authors, journal, volume, pages, DOI or link to match the record, but only when you press the button for that change. It never writes new references.
What the results mean, and what they don't
- Results are automated lookups. Indexes have gaps and errors, and the add-on can match the wrong record. Check anything that matters.
- "Not found" is not a finding that a source was made up. Books, theses, reports, older, regional and non-English works are often missing from the indexes. Do not accuse anyone of misconduct on the strength of this add-on alone.
- The add-on does not detect plagiarism or AI-written text and does not judge whether a source supports what a document says.
Your part
- You are responsible for your document and for the changes you accept. Every change is an ordinary Google Docs edit, visible in version history.
- Use the add-on lawfully and within your institution's rules. Don't use it to overload the service (for example, automated bulk requests).
Free use and Pro
The add-on is free, with a daily limit on how many references can be checked per document. A paid Pro plan (unlimited checks, applying all fixes at once, a printable log) is planned at $4 per month or $19 per year. Pro is not on sale yet. When it is: Tomorrowish LLC, not Google, is the seller; prices shown include everything you pay before any sales tax your country adds; subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt; and you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment by writing to the address below.
No warranty
The add-on is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Tomorrowish LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the add-on in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Changes
Tomorrowish LLC may change the add-on or these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Tomorrowish LLC may stop offering the add-on; Pro subscribers would get a pro-rata refund.
