Sori Village Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

The short version: Sori Village collects no data. Your progress stays on your device. There is no Sori Village server, no account and nothing sent to us.

Your progress

The game saves your progress (letters and words learned, your review schedule, coins, where you are on the map, and the days you practiced) in a file on your device. Your settings (music, sounds, zoom, reminder time) are stored on the device too. Your iPhone or iPad backups may include them, depending on your settings. Deleting the app deletes them.

Sound

Every Korean letter and word you hear is a recording that ships inside the app. Nothing is fetched from the internet and nothing you do is recorded.

Review reminders (optional)

If you turn on the review reminder, the game schedules a local notification on your device. It's created and delivered by iOS and never leaves your device. Turn it off in the game's menu → Review reminder, or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sori Village.

Purchases

The optional "Unlock all chapters" purchase is processed by Apple. Sori Village only learns whether your Apple Account owns the unlock; it never sees your payment details, name, address or Apple ID.

Ratings

Now and then, after you finish something, the game may show Apple's standard "rate this app" prompt. Apple handles it; we receive no personal data from it.

What Sori Village doesn't do

Children

Sori Village is rated 4+ but is not specifically designed for children. We collect no data, so there's nothing to handle differently for users under 13.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the date at the top of the page will update and we'll note it in the app's What's New on the next release.
