Paperpaw Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

The short version: Paperpaw collects no data. Everything you print is made on your device and sent only to your printer over Bluetooth. There is no Paperpaw server, no account and nothing sent to us.

Bluetooth and your printer

Paperpaw uses Bluetooth only to find and talk to your mini printer. It remembers which printer you used and its model and darkness setting, on your device. It keeps a short text log of recent prints (sizes, timings and what the printer answered) in its own folder on your device so a printing problem can be diagnosed; it never leaves the device by itself.

Photos and files

Photos you pick and PDFs you open are read only to make the print. A private copy of the current photo, PDF and your designs stays in the app's folder on your device so your work is still there next time. Nothing is saved to your photo library.

Calendar and Reminders

Only if you use My day, Paperpaw asks to read your calendars and reminders, and reads today's or tomorrow's on your device to lay out the print. It never changes them and never uploads them. You can turn access off any time in iPhone Settings → Paperpaw.

Your prints

The Printed list keeps recent prints on your device so you can print them again. You can delete them in the app; deleting the app deletes everything. Your iPhone or iPad backups may include them, depending on your settings.

Share Sheet and Shortcuts

Things you share to Paperpaw from other apps, and Shortcuts you set up, are printed on your device the same way. Nothing passes through us.

Purchases

The optional "Paperpaw Pro" purchase is processed by Apple. Paperpaw only learns whether your Apple Account (or your Family Sharing group) owns Pro; it never sees your payment details, name, address or Apple ID.

Ratings

Now and then, after a few good prints, the app may show Apple's standard "rate this app" prompt. Apple handles it; we receive no personal data from it.

What Paperpaw doesn't do

Children

Paperpaw is rated 4+ but is not specifically designed for children. We collect no data, so there's nothing to handle differently for users under 13.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the date at the top of the page will update and we'll note it in the app's What's New on the next release.
