Mask Minder Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Mask Minder has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking SDKs. We don't collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

What stays on your device

All of these stay on your iPhone and never leave it:

If you delete the app, all of this is removed with it.

Permissions Mask Minder requests

Network requests

Mask Minder makes one kind of network request: the optional Pro "Outbreak intelligence" feature fetches public CDC wastewater data from data.cdc.gov to look up local respiratory activity. The request includes your US state name (derived on-device from reverse geocoding) as a query parameter. The state name is not personally identifying. No request is made if you don't have Pro or aren't in the United States.

Apple's MapKit framework is used to look up venue names for visit locations. These lookups are handled by iOS in the same way as the built-in Maps app; Mask Minder does not transmit the data anywhere itself.

In-app purchases

The Mask Minder Pro one-time purchase is processed by Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles billing — Mask Minder never sees your payment information.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

Mask Minder does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. There is no cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy is ever updated, the date at the top of the page will change.
