Clean Playlist for Apple Music
Make a clean version of a playlist: every explicit song is swapped for its clean edit from Apple Music℠, songs that have no clean edit are listed so you decide, and a new playlist "Clean · name" appears next to the original. The original is never changed.
"Clean" here means Apple Music's own rating: a song marked Explicit is replaced by the version Apple marks Clean. It is not a lyric check, so a song with no rating can still have lyrics you'd skip. Not affiliated with Apple. Your playlists and Apple Music sign-in stay in this browser tab: nothing is stored on our server.
Sign in with your Apple Music account, pick a playlist, check the preview, then create the clean copy in your library.
Apple shows its own sign-in window. You need an active Apple Music subscription for Apple to let any app read or add playlists. No subscription? still shows the clean matches.
No playlists in this library yet.
One song per line as Artist – Title or Title by Artist, or a CSV with title and artist columns (exports from other services work).
Free for up to 30 songs per list. Coming from Spotify? See the note at the bottom of this page.
A song in your playlist is greyed out or says it's unavailable? Paste its Apple Music link (Share → Copy Link) to see whether Apple Music has another version of it in your country.

Songs with no clean version are left out by default. Change any row with its menu.
Questions
Doesn't Apple Music already have a clean setting?
It has a playback filter: Screen Time (or Settings › Music on some devices) can block explicit songs from playing. It doesn't add the clean edits to your playlist, so blocked songs just get skipped or greyed out. This tool builds a playlist that actually contains the clean versions.
Why do some songs have no clean version?
The label never released one, or it isn't on Apple Music in your country. Those songs are listed separately so you can leave them out or keep them.
Is anything stored?
No. The page talks to Apple Music directly from your browser. Our server only hands out the Apple Music developer key the page needs; it never sees your sign-in, your playlists or the songs you paste. We count anonymous page events (like "a preview was made") to see whether the tool gets used.
I use Spotify
Spotify's 2026 developer rules limit new apps like this one to 5 users and remove access to other people's playlists, so a Spotify sign-in isn't possible here. Copy your song names (or a CSV export of the playlist) into to build the clean version in Apple Music.
Is there a paid version?
Free covers playlists and lists up to 30 songs. A Pro version (any length, and re-sync when the original playlist changes) isn't open yet; .
